Mr. Miwa is in charge of domestic and foreign patent applications, prosecutions, appeals, and the like.
He specializes in Pharmaceutical Science, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biotechnology and the like, and can provide a particularly high level of services with respect to patent cases in the fields of pharmaceuticals, functional foods, cosmetics and the like.
He worked for patent offices, being engaged as a technical expert in charge of domestic and foreign patent applications, prosecutions, appeals and the like for 8 years.
After then, he worked for the JPO as an Examiner for Pharmaceutical Sciences at Pharmaceutical Sciences Division, Third Patent Examination Department for 6 years.
He left the JPO after passing of an examination for patent attorneys license, and worked for a patent office for one and a half years.
